Better Together: Youth ART Show Opening Reception
The inner world of a child expands through exploration. This occurs through access to varying media of art but also through expanding their interests into other disciplines such as science, music, writing, and movement.
Better Together: Youth ART Show is an expression of exploration and accomplishes this essential mission for our youth community. Included in this exhibit are selected works created by children from 20 summer art camps, each piece illustrating the power of curiosity, emulation, and generation. Students created collaborative and individual projects, intercommunicating to create a visual, singing choir; a synchronized dance of play.
Similar to a loom design, each child's carefully chosen color overlaps and rests beside those of their peers. They weave together to blend whispers of creative sharing, friendship, and community, connecting pieces that are better together.
Join us to celebrate the opening of our annual youth art exhibit, Better Together: Youth ART Show! This exhibit is unique in that it showcases art that has been created, curated, and installed entirely by students.
