Dear projectART Supporters,
We wanted to show you what you have done to support art education in the Wimberley Valley! Whether you volunteered your time at projectPROM, donated items for the silent auction, gave money as business sponsors or danced the night away on March 7th, your generosity is directly impacting art students and art programs in Wimberley.
We pledged that 100% of projectPROM’s proceeds would supplement supply budgets, purchase a kiln for Jacob’s Well Elementary, and display student art throughout town.
Our net profit from projectPROM was $10,125.
Here is how we allocated the funds:
- $5522 for a clay kiln and installation at Jacob’s Well Elementary
- $1200 for art supplies at Wimberley High School
- $1100 for a clay slab roller, art display railings, and art supplies for Danforth Junior High
- $800 for clay, glazes and clay tools at Jacob’s Well Elementary
- $800 for clay, glazes and clay tools at Blue Hole Elementary
- $ 360 for art display railings at WISD Board Room
